Cam’ron: Gangsta Grillz – Boss of All Bosses

As a fan of many genres of music, I have to say that the hip-hop scene is far ahead of other popular genres in one particular area: free content. Rappers, beatmakers and DJs are constantly releasing free content in the form of mixtapes that are typically available for free download. Some might argue that this is because the majority of the content these artists release is unoriginal (i.e. hijacked, chopped, sampled, etc.) – a well-documented point, but I’m of the school of thought that when well-executed, recycling content in the form of sampling and such, yields a prouct that is no less artistically valid.

Now that I’ve established  this arduous and thin distinction, I was very much pleased to read on DJ Drama’s twitter about the release of the latest installment in his Gangsta Grillz series – a Cam’ron edition entitled Boss of All Bosses. You can download it for free here. Enjoy. Killa!
